Dohyung Kim - CEO

Dohyung Kim brings over 20 years of experience in management consulting, corporate management and investment. After graduating from college, he started his career with Accenture as a management consultant. Then he worked for SK Group in focusing on strategy and marketing. He subsequently joined DongKoo Bio & Pharma (“DKBP”) and played an integral role in listing the company in 2018. He founded loftyrock Investment in 2021 to further enhance DKBP’s investment activities. As for his past investments, they include D&D Pharmatech, BIONOTE, VUNO, Genome & Company, Jeisys Medical, MedPacto, and Valted Seq. Mr. Kim holds a BA in Business from Sogang University, a MBA from KAIST, and Ph.D. Candidate in Pharmacy from Sungkyunkwan University.

Jinwoo Jung - Investment Management Division

Jinwoo Jung brings over 13 years of experience in both the accounting sector and the healthcare startup industry. His professional journey commenced at Samil PwC, where he specialized in auditing before transitioning into mergers and acquisitions (M&A) consulting. Upon joining the healthcare startup TiumBio, he assumed leadership of the corporate planning team, spearheading pivotal initiatives such as IPOs, fundraising, finance, investor relations (IR), and the development of new business ventures. He holds a BA degree in Business Administration from Hanyang University and is a licensed Korean Certified Public Accountant (KICPA).

Daewon Kang – Risk and Compliance Managing Director

Daewon Kang brings over 16 years of experience in financial industry where he has extensive experience in risk management. He worked as a consultant for IBM and Deloitte focusing on risk management of financial institutions. Subsequently, he worked in risk management team at Korea Development Bank and Korea Asset Investment and Securities. He joined loftyrock Investment in 2021 as Risk and Compliance Manager Managing Director.
Mr. Kang obtained a BA and a MA in Business Administration from Sogang University.

Yongwoo Kim – Operations Managing Director

Yongwoo Kim brings over 15 years of experience in financial industry – brokerage, bank, and hedge fund. After graduating from college, he started his career with Bank of America in 2001. Then he worked for BA Asia Securities, Toji Trading Singapore, SIG Tech and Barclays Bank. Mr. Kim was most recently worked as Managing Director of DKBP.

Hyojin Park – Internal Auditor

Hyojin Park became Internal Auditor of 'Loftyrock Investment' in March 2024. Prior to joining Loftyrock, he was Compliance officer for KR Investment & Securities. He Joined KR in April 2019 following a more than 11-years career with Kakaopay Securities, Korea Asset Investment Securities, National Assembly of the Republic of Korea, and Legal Entities Chung-Won. He holds a BS in business administration from Seoul National University, and a JD in law-school from Hanyang University. He is also licensed by Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Korea as a Lawyer.
